Chaotic and methodical, precise and devastating, Slow Drowned is the first collaboration between Stirrings Still and Daniel Mothers.

Modified and revised over the course of a year, the track was sent back and forth between both artists where each took an approach to add and alter specific elements unique to each artist to create a rich collage of sound. Combining field recordings, piano, tape loops, drones, samples and more, there is an emotional weight that creeps throughout the music adding a tenderness that feels as if it is on the verge of collapse.

Released on 14th February 2020 via The Aleph
